Aloha, I'm Margot!

I’m a Human Factors & Ergonomics professional specializing in UX Research and Interaction Design. I have a broad background in biotech and non-profit organizations, but the guiding star throughout my career has been my interest in learning about and helping people use technology more effectively and efficiently. From training lab technicians to redesigning screens for a Filemaker database, my sense of curiosity and empathy helps to increase users’ comfort, satisfaction, and productivity.

I am currently working on a Master of Science degree in Human Factors & Ergonomics from San Jose State University, with projected graduation in spring 2022. You can find examples of recent projects on the portfolio section of this website, or learn more about my background in my Resume.

Outside of work, I teach swing dancing and DJ for venues around the SF Bay Area. I’m on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, but you can check my calendar to find out where I’ll be teaching next.
